Gythion is situated on the middle finger of the south of Peloponnes, and is the entrance to Mani with its romantic landscape at the foot of its rough mountains.

The little port town is inhabitated by about 8000 people and lies at the foot of a big mountain range in the center of a lush and rich landscape. The farmers who live in this area mainly grow olives, figs, oranges and lemons.

Mani has been able to conserve its original wild character and thus presents itself with impressing diversity.
